Care Guide
Bamboo bedding is soft, breathable and comfortable, but it should be cared for gently to help maintain its texture and quality.
Please always check the care label on your product before washing.
Washing Instructions
For best results:
- Machine wash cold or at low temperature
- Use a gentle cycle
- Wash with similar colours
- Use mild liquid detergent
- Wash items inside out where suitable
Avoid washing bamboo bedding with rough fabrics, zips, hooks or towels, as these may cause friction or pilling.
What to Avoid
Please avoid:
- Bleach
- Fabric softener
- Harsh detergents
- Optical brighteners
- High heat drying
- Dry cleaning, unless stated on the care label
Fabric softeners may coat the fibres and reduce the natural softness and breathability of bamboo fabric.
Drying Instructions
We recommend air drying where possible.
- Air dry naturally when possible
- Keep away from direct intense sunlight for long periods
- Tumble dry on low only if needed
- Remove promptly to reduce creasing
Avoid high heat, as it may affect the softness and lifespan of the fabric.
Ironing
Bamboo bedding may naturally crease after washing.
If needed:
- Iron on a low setting
- Iron inside out where possible
- Do not use high heat
For a relaxed natural look, you can simply smooth the bedding by hand while slightly damp and allow it to air dry.
Storing Your Bedding
Store bedding in a cool, dry place.
- Make sure bedding is fully dry before storing
- Avoid plastic storage for long periods
- Use breathable cotton or fabric storage bags where possible
- Keep away from direct sunlight and damp areas
Keeping Bedding Fresh
To keep your bedding feeling fresh:
- Air bedding regularly
- Avoid overloading the washing machine
- Wash pillowcases more often if needed
- Rotate between bedding sets
- Store clean bedding in a dry, breathable space
